Brief history :
Founded by Morcos Smeika
Pasha in 1910 AD to offer an
easily traced history about
Christianity in Egypt
Erected over 8000 square
meters that was willingly offered
by the Christian Church under
the presidency of Pope Cyril
V and his successor Abba Yuanis
XIXth .
It consists of two
wings : the old (Founded in
1910) is actually closed for
restoration and the new wing
Inaugurated in 20th February
1947 over 1204 square meter
.
The objects displayed
rise up to 16000 pieces approximately
